Mouni Maharaj Math (Monastery)

Village Patgaon is famous for Mouni Maharaj math and Samadhi. Mouni was the saint in the sixteenth century and he handles the politics of Vijapur region. At the time of Karnataka visit, Chh. Shivaji Maharaja meets and favors him. The math is also famous for beautiful architect done of wooden design. The Jotiba hills stone were used to build the entrance door and nagarkhana of math. Goddess Bhadrakali is their local deity. In math of Mouni Maharaj there where they give anugraha to Chh. Shivaji Maharaja known as ‘Shivaji- Mouni Visit Place’ (Shivaji Mouni Darshan). This place is at backside of Samadhi of Mouni Maharaj in west side.
