Tavandi Jain Mandir

in Karnataka state. Two temples are situating in the Nipani town. Tavandi (stavanidhi) is on the way of NH-4. There are four Jain temples at stavnidhi. 180 cms high idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath sitted in the Padmasana posture. The huge idol of Brahmadeva is very miraculous. The people of all faith visit the temple of Brahmadeva to fulfill their desires. There is a temple dedicated to the Padmavati between the main rod and the tirth temple.

The main temple has Stavnidhi has three vedis. The first one is dedicated to Bhagwan Suparsvanath. Anidol of Bhagwan Rishabhdev of 11 CAD has installed in this chaitya, in the second chaitya, an idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath known as navkhand (nine pieces) is very miraculous.

There is idol of Yaksh Brahmadev and an idol of Devi Padmavati in this chaitya. The third enclosure has dedicated to Yaksh Brahmadev. A very huge idol of sindoori color had installed here. On the upper storey, a shassterakut and choumukha are there. The image in Kayotsarg posture of Bhagwan Neminath, Bhagwan Adinath, Bhagwan Parshvanath and Bhagwan Mahaveer in Padmasana as Mulnayak had installed here.

A fair is organized here in the Hindu month of Pousha (January) on the night of Amavasya (dark night).
